Building on his lifetime experiences and dedication in the fields of health, environment, education and promoting peace, as far back in the 90’s and most especially as from 1998, Florentin Fonche had already began his work as a philanthropist. In the 90’s the Florentin Fonche Foundation was born out of the hardship peoples in the Cameroons, and other parts of Africa were going through. Florentin Fonche witnessed the difficulties and hardships people faced in the domains of Education, Environment, Health and Promoting Peace that he decided to do something about it.
During this time, the Florentin Fonche Foundation existed as a small group coordinated by Florentin Fonche. It was finally established in 1998. It was not until 2005 that Dr. Florentin Fonche with the support of family and dedicated friends registered the Florentin Fonche Foundation as a Non Profit Organisation in the United Kingdom in his bid to further expand his work and that of his partners.
The Florentin Fonche Foundation’s mission is very simple. It is about strengthening peoples capacity in all corners of the world in order to meet the challenges of today. Currently, the Florentin Fonche Foundation is working hard raising funds towards helping children, Promoting Peace, Education, Environmental and Health Initiatives, strengthening Economies (through Business Development Initiatives). The foundation also supports partnerships among Governments, Businesses, NGO and private Citizens. Supporting initiatives as the ones we promote goes a long way in converting intentions, passions, resources and expertise into measurable results.
To realise its goals, the Florentin Fonche Foundation has established several programmes and initiatives. These programmes have particular missions to achieve and at the same time reflecting Dr. Florentin Fonche’s founding vision.
In a nutshell this is achieving the key challenges in the following areas: Health, Education, Environment, Promoting Peace, Economic Strength and Business Development.
In all programmes and initiatives, the foundation stresses upon efficiency, positive impact, innovation,accountability partnership, collaboration, sustainability and above all excellent results.
Above all, the Florentin Fonche Foundation can enormously contribute in bringing about these necessary and life changing saving changes in our communities, at national and international levels thereby improving peoples lives in a better way should we continue working together.
